It's been a while since I last posted anything in my gallery here, so I figured I should add something I finished recently. This particular image is one part fanart and one part contest submission for Edgeling's character contest on his journal. As for what's going on, well let's just say that with her being a pretty toxic semi-slime character, those two sets of bones were people that didn't end well. Pretty random, but meh... Technical notes: Obviously, in Poser it's really hard to get solid black to shine or reflect any sort of light back properly, even if you're adding light modifiers to the materials used. So, I ended up using something that pretty much looked like purple. The slime on Murk's body, on the other hand, took some effort. For whatever reasons that I can't always understand, Poser 6 and the goo plugin I use don't always want to communicate with one another properly and either one tended to crash every couple of minutes while applying the extra polygons to the scene. Another reason why I'm really trying to pull away from Poser. Any how, after setting up the scene, it only took most of the night to render while I slept and the rest was postwork in Photoshop. And yes, I know I could have done this sooner, but general laziness and random computer problems other than the ones above kept me from starting this until recently. SO, enjoy!
