this is my cat, yeesha, watching the olympics on tv. she sits like this quite often, leaning against the corner of the sofa. she really isn't quite as fat as this photo makes her, she's sitting at an angle, but yes, her feet are that big... :)

She does seem to settle down into herself like a bean bag. :-) My mother used to look like this after a couple of drinks and we would say she was sitting all puffed down like a fat toad. Generally we only said that after she nodded off though.

This is priceless...I know a few furry ladies and gentlemen who sit this way, often purring. I love this photo and yeah, cats have a way of settling into themselves and looking positively...well...fat! I have a friend who--upon seeing a cat in the pose--would simply show appreciation at being shown the "belly of love." This is great!

She seems very happy with his lot, reminds me of my own course in some nonchalant pose. Well established, quiet and serene, she is watching TV without apparent emotion ... because cats are all in all shades of gray and white! The Winter Olympics are not really memorable, given the disdain that judges have repeatedly expressed for the safety of competitors! Elle semble très contente de son sort, me rappelle les miennes bien sûr dans quelques poses nonchalantes. Bien installée, calme et sereine, elle regarde la télé sans émotion apparente...car les chats voient tout dans l'ensemble des nuances du gris et blanc ! Ces J.O. d'hiver ne seront pas réellement mémorables, au vu du mépris que les juges ont manifesté à plusieurs reprises pour la sécurité des compétiteurs !
