Description

I look at this house and imagine a close family, one who works together, one who lives off the land and appreciates all it has given them. I also look at this house and get sad, it is abandoned...such beauty left to rot...so many memories were left behind, only if walls could talk...I would have many, many conversations.

Beautiful capture! I really love the title for this... truthful and yet touching. It seems like such a beautiful place, in need of reclaiming... I wonder what truths lie behind this abandoned place... marvelous composition and caption!

I like the mystery presented here. Let's see if I just walk a little further over here, maybe I can see the rest of the house...not sure... This house looks very old...well before Home Depot began selling building supplies:) And the age old questions, who lived here and when...I suppose the tract of land could be traced and then the residents, etc. ...over at the county hall. All this comes about in my mind because of your well composed photo image! Genuinely interesting and you wonder what the future will hold for this fine old relic. Nice one:)

A wonderful image! I get the same feeling when I go on a hike and find the rock foundation of an old homestead. Who were these people? What was life like for them?

A very well positioned shot Kim, the tree and just a slight preview of the abandoned house.. Yes a whole series of questions come to mind when one sees an old abandoned house, and if only walls could talk what a great time it would be just to sit and listen to the stories they could tell, the history would be amazing.. Excellent capture!!
