Description

In 2007 I was out of work, and came up with an idea to make a little money. I rented a booth at a local indoor flea market and set up a simple studio. When people discovered that I would do pet portraits at a low price, I actually started making a living at it. By trial and error, I learned a lot about portrait photography of pets and people, and had a very good time doing it. One of my first customers was a lady with six Boston Terriers, which she brought in two or three at a time over three weekends. The photo sessions were like a circus, and the dogs were like a bunch of hyper-active clowns. There was always a crowd watching the proceedings, which turned out to be great advertising! Previously;

What a great idea to make money!! People LOVE having pics taken of their pets!! There is a business here in southern NH that takes portraits of pets...and the owner/s can be in the picture too. When we got our first parrot we took him to be photographed and the photographer was a bit nervous because he had never done a bird before, but they came out great! When the pics came back it reminded me of when we used to get our school pictures...you could choose different poses and sizes...and being our first 'fid' (feathered kid) we bought them all, LOL!!

Great Collage! Love Pet Photography! You should "Gallery" all your animal photos on PeoplePets.com too. I have met some of the greatest folks in the world just like on this site... often nicer and better than family to me! Renderosity and PeoplePets are two of my favorite sites. You could definately win some of their contests. Some of my friends do outstanding work others are just there to socialize and I think their pets do the picture taking!
