Description
The image at upper left is a symmetrisation work in a quadruple arrangement of
a hand radiogram, the radiogram showing some of the landmark radiological finds
concerning the hand of a rheumatoid arthritis patient. The slide that was showing
the radiogram was the property of an assistant professor of orthopaedics back in
the medical faculty, and he was kind to lend me the slide for my printing it in
the darkroom just to use in such a symmetrisation work that came to my mind the
instant I saw the slide displayed during a lecture about rheumatoid arthritis.
Rest is the result of the "slicing craze" that is dominating me recently. Yet,
have to admit that this work is not so satisfying for me, but I had to bring
it forth somehow...
"Like an arachnid", hence the name "arachnoid"...
