Description
The Discovery was to have gone down in history as the first true spaceship, but the multinational mission to Mars never launched.
The crew had just boarded the Discovery when a gigantic spaceship suddenly decloaked nearby
"Spaceship Discovery, this is Starship Isaac Asimov..."
The voice of Captain Oliver C. Trautmann, commanding the flagship of UEF Starfleet, was heard on every radio and television frequency in the world
"...Do not ignite your engines, No. 3 engine will explode on ignition"
And the world was never the same again.
