L'esthétique est une discipline philosophique ayant pour objet les perceptions, les sens, le beau (dans la nature ou l'art), ou exclusivement ce qui se rapporte au concept de l'art. L'esthétique correspond ainsi au domaine désigné jusqu'au XVIIIe siècle par science du beau ou critique du goût, et devient depuis le XIXe siècle la philosophie de l'art. L'esthétique se rapporte, par exemple, aux émotions provoquées par une œuvre d'art (ou certains gestes, attitudes, choses), aux jugements de l'œuvre, que ce qui est spécifique ou singulier à une expression (artistique, littéraire, poétique, etc.), à ce qui pourrait se définir comme beau par opposition à l'utile et au fonctionnel. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. What is "aesthetically" pleasing to one person, may not be so to another. Who has the power to say on behalf of all of us what is or is not an aesthetic experience? We are all different thank goodness, all individuals:-) This one is like looking in a distorting mirror Claude, maybe ripples in the glass.

Essai réussi : cette image est très esthétique, à mi-chemin entre Pop Art et imagerie scientifique. J'aime beaucoup la non-symétrie à l'oeuvre ici qui permet à l'image de quitter la spécificité de l'Art Fractal et d'entrer dans celle de l'Art tout court !! Excellent travail !!

Aesthetically very pleasing to my eyes. Brilliant colors, amazing designs. That which is to the left seems to be reflected by what is on the right. Yet they do not look like each other at all. the right makes me think of a zebra, the left looks to me like an eyeball. And yet they fit together so perfectly!
