Description
It was an odd morn in early Sept when they came for the R. Bruce Angus and her final tow. A fog had settled since early morn and the breakers tugs had held off for as long as possible, but alas could wait no more. Her lines that had held her to the dock were cast off and towing cables slipped on her fore and aft sections, black diesel smoke erupted from the tugs stacks, the growling roar came through the fog as engines worked to pull the dead weight away from its berth, do a slow grace turn and fade from from the berth she had know for the last year of its life and slip into then mists of oblivion and history.
Thanks for the peek..............

Great work. The foggy atmosphere is superb for this shot of the ship heading to her demise. Well done.

You can tell she was getting on a bit, you can see the ribs and spars through her increasingly thin skin.

Un barco que se desvanece en la niebla...bella y triste a la vez. A ship disappears in the fog ... beautiful and sad at once.
