I like it, I like it a lot! The robe and chain are such a great touch to the scene, and it's a bit like a sad memorial to a fallen knight.

Just beautiful, man. Just beautiful. May I recommend a book about the Third Crusade? It is called "Warriors of God" by James Reston. It is about two different men of different faiths: Richard the Lionhearted and Saladin, the Sultan of Egypt. Incredible true story of the Third Crusade as it had determined the fate of the Middle East and the world for more than 800 years.

Great rendering of a classic. Very full of the emotion of what had happened. Great work...

Wow, excellent render. I can't really find anything that is less than awesome. I especially love the robe and the lighting. I orignally didn't like that glow/shiny-bit around the blade, but then I realized that without it, the blade would get lost in the background. So, I like the glow/shiny-bit. :)

Great image, love the feel of it, however, if you add a slight blue hue to the lighting it would look better IMO. Isolated sunlight durring the day has an ever so slight blue cast to it. Open up psp, or photo shop and add %15 mroe blue on the RGB scale and you'll see what I mean. Thats just IMO though.
