Description

Hello and thanks for looking... I put this together for a contest over at DSA that had the Phantom of the Opera as it's theme. I had a handicap, because I only ever saw the movie version starring Lon Cheney when I was a kid. I guess I'll have to rent it... some night when there isn't any sports on. ^_^ It took me a while to finish this up for some reason, and I probably should have put in more detail work, like some scars on the phantom or something like that. But I guess it looked okay, cause the folks over at DSA seemed to like it. But what do you think? That's what I want to know! Also, I'm dedicating this picture to our friend Adrie... a very Happy Birthday to you! Thanks in advance for your comments and stuff, they are very much appreciated, Tom Seaview123 Credits: Morphing Fantasy Dress by Daz3D M4 Business Suit by Predtron and Diana

funny you mention the old classic... I forgot all about that one.... a week ago, I looked up all the old creature feature movies and stuck them in my que... Funny thing is, I looked all over for the wolfman, even typed in Lon Chainy Jr.... Never found it, but did find the wolfman vs frankenstien... all those old movies I haven't seen since grade school, over 30 years ago - sad to say it, but it's probably closer to 40 years.... I like her emotion, but I agree with you, you should of done more to his face... if I remember right, the phantom had a pushed up nose so you could see his nostrils reall good, dark rings around his eyes and some nasty teeth, high cheek bones, high forehead with hardly any hair.... If ya would of made the guy ugly, you probably would of won their contest.

Lovely work on this scene and the phantom of the opera.. He don't look anything like Michael Crawford lol. Well I have to admit I have never seen it either and don't think I will lol.. Yeah I think you should have messed his face a bit lol..

Great interpratation, love her expression. Apparently in the original Lon Chaney movie they didn't show the leading actress Chaney's makup. When she removed his mask her "acting" was all too real.

It is very good. Her expression of horror is wonderful. In the TV version of the movie his face was badly burned, making him look monstrous. The TV version is the only one I ever got to see.
