Description

August Schwengel send his sons away to study in a foreign land. There the little “Schwengels”shall learn how to behave on the battlefields,up to now the only battle field they’ve seen are the bars in Monte-Stonko named after the great August Schwengel. From left to right are Erich,Heinrich and Hermann Schwengel. Looks like a mug shot to me heheh, 250 years minimum sentence each!!!!!!!!! Inspired of course from the movie boyz from brazil-with Gregory Peck (great actor). no tag here,unless we need one for their faces.

in case anybody is interested here a few bits and a link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_occupation_of_Luxembourg_in_World_War_II # About 40% of the men drafted for service refused to serve in the German Wehrmacht and went into hiding, half of them inside the country's borders. Those who escaped to Britain joined the Allied Forces and took part in the Battle of Normandy as part of the 1st Belgian Brigade also known as the Brigade Piron. # Some Luxembourgish refused to give the Nazi salute, i.e rising one's arm while shouting "Heil Hitler". Instead, they said "Drei Liter" ("Three liters", understood as "three liters of beer") as fast as possible and with a strong Luxembourgish accent, which fooled any German who could hear it.

Before I even read your paragraph my thought was "they look like a parody of Hitler"... and good for the people of Luxembourg for doing what they did. Any little victory they could get during that time was a huge one. Good work Rene! I am loving your political commentaries. :)
