Bonjour,
I have the pleasure to submit you the new works ‘s paintings .Always around of the them “Eternal Return” ‘s F.W. NIETZSCHE and my symbolist approach.
Why alleys in town or village ? When one walk or move along to roads or motorways ,we go from point to an other point. It’s all ! It’s little. Into the alleys ,one look , one lose one’s way ,one turn and return ,… etc … With pleasure or unpleasure ,with happiness or as well suffering. The world with the life of peoples from all countries ,all believes ,all superstitions ,tragedies , happinesses, arts,….etc…The colors of the live .
I have tried to translate this idea. “ If the life don’t you love, love the life..”…..
Outcomes my yearly travels in Morocco and Egypt ,I have used my villages or little towns ‘s memories.

As the painting format is enough large ( 81x 60 cm) I permit myself to add traduction of my hieroglyphic text .

The artist is using very bold colours and is not afraid to mixing Apophysis renders with traditional techniques. Impressive! I am most envious of the large (81 x 60 cm) format. Do they really use hieroglyphs as graffiti in Egypt! ;)

First thing that hits me when this one first pops up is the color. Your work is so rich in color and detail. I love this one much and your write up is so true. In my travels Ive always found myself walking up and down streets lost in the excitement of the people the sounds and smells of the different foods and the laughter of childern playing. Cette série de peintures sur les ruelles est vraiment remarquable ! Elles sont très belles, superbement composées, les couleurs sont magnifiques et les textures des murs sont extraordinaires et parfois hyper-réalistes !! L'ajout d'éléments issus de fractales leur apporte une dimension autre, cette touche de modernité qui les fait sortir du la Peinture Orientaliste traditionnelle ! Je pense que même sans les fractales, elles seraient très intéressantes quand même, vu le haut niveau technique de peinture présent en chacune d'elles !! Dans celle-ci, il y a une dimension un peu plus fantastique encore avec le sol entièrement peint !! Un travail d'une très haute qualité et d'une très grande maîtrise !! Bravo !!

Les splendides fractales bleues apportent une dimension fantastique à la scène, la femme semblant ne pas toucher le sol ! de magnifiques couleurs chaudes et ce hiéroglyphe font de ce tableau une oeuvre superbement esthétique, Jean !

La femme semble se déplacer sur un torrent, un cours, sûrement celui d'une vie, entourée par le passé et la tradition symbolisés par les hyéroglyphes, seulement attentive à la tâche qui est la sienne, aller jusqu'au bout... Une oeuvre superbes aux magnifiques couleurs de lumière!
