it is a cool car and outstanding art. I was disappointed when I was young as my brother said he would buy a similar Ford for me that belonged to his girlfriend.it was at my mothers house for a while and when no one was home I would drive it in the driveway teaching myself to use a clutch .he diappointed my mother even more so mine was trivial

My brother once owned a '49 Ford flathead 8 ... an errant spark while removing the battery set the car on fire in a filling station garage. The local fire department attached hooks, drug it outside and they had a rousing good time watching it burn. Very nice picture ... well done.

Thhis really gets my attention Ken. Anytime you put a '49 or '50 Ford up, I am with you. My first car was a 1950 Ford convertible. The flat head V8 was the simplest engine to work on...I loved it.

This takes me way back when. One day I stepped out the door of my parents house (I was a pre-school aged kid at the time)and there in front of my very eyes I see parked on the street this beautiful brand new light/dark green car. I loved cars then and still do (models pre 1990). Funny I often think of that 49 Ford. You made my day !
