Description

Deep within the Tarantula Nebulae, yes, it truly does exist, go here to see it: http://www.eso.org/public/news/eso0650 As I was saying, deep within the Tarantula Nebulae there exist this beautiful little star! But beware for it is not at all what it seems. It is a web, a trap for unwary travelers. If you look very closely, you will see her, Lady Tarantula, just there, waiting for her dinner. She blends herself very carefully into the background, shifting colors as much as she can to disappear. Perhaps a lesson to learn .. there is a reason things are named as they are. A little bit of everything in here, Gnarls from Bunny and Bart's Gnarl scripts, the spiderwoman tube by mikemusike from free stuff, the web/star is raw flame tweaked till it cried for mercy, and the the rest in PSP. One of those fun images to play with. Many thanks for commiserating with me about the fact that our Bunny has closed her gallery due to theft. Not just once, but quite a few times her art was stolen. It broke her heart, and then it broke ours. Hope you all are beginning to see bits of spring .. we still have snow, but they promise warmer temps and sunshine .. so MELT snow, MELT!!

Fantastic and very deceptive image! Wonderful job my friend. I am also sorry that Bunny has left, but I know that she will do better where ever she is. Well done

Simply a stunning image! Love the way you work together different elements...and you always add just enough, beautifully balanced and never cluttered. The star in this is wonderfully detailed and delicate, and the little lady adds a bit of drama.
