Description

Everything was going as planned, Shyla's army was decimating the army of the Red Mages. The initial attack was unexpected and deadly, the enemy force was cut in half straight off. The trolls and ogres made up the first wave of the attack and they smashed into the enemy lines with such force it could almost be felt from where she sat astride Gort, high above the field of battle. The elven archers unleashed volley after volley of deadly arrows deep into the ranks just to the rear of the front lines. The sky was so thick with arrows that it looked like it was raining arrows. She smiled as she watched her own wizards and sorcerers blasting away at the enemy from all sides. They used bolts of lighting and balls of fire lit up the battlefield with brilliant crackling energy, the ice storms and meteor swarms literally pounded the enemy into the ground. As the battlefield got harder to see throught the smoke and dust, Shyla new it was time. Her generals had things well under control, this battle was all but won. Now it was time for her to do her part. She and Gort turned their attention to the mages tower. She would face the Archmage alone, this would be her final revenge, to kill the one who was responsible for the deaths of her parents, and who knew how many other lives. As they approached they could make out the form of another drgon slowly circling the tower. "Gort, are you sure Teal will keep her word?" "Yes my queen, I am sure. The wizard's hold over her has been broken. She merely circles the tower to ensure he doesn't escape." "Very well my friend, I trust your judgement in this. Set me down on that ledge near the top of the tower as planned. I will take the wizard down myself! You and Teal return to the battle and help mop up whats left of his army!" "Very well my queen, when next we meet it will be to celebrate our victory!" Shyla stepped off of her friends back onto the ledge of the tower, as she turned to enter she heard Gort and Teal speed of to battle with mighty blood curdling roars. She smiled as she stepped into the tower, the day was theirs. Now it was time to end the archmages influence one and for all! Thanks for the peek!
