Description

Small towns, homes, business, living, breathing.... vanishing. Turning into bedroom communities, people buying houses in small towns outside of the cities where they work, convenience, cheaper to buy, quieter to live... but they are not a part of the community, they just live there... small towns in Canada have a strange feel to them, sometimes... you can buy a house there, but it's not your house... it's known by one of the previous tenants... usually the first person to live there... it's not your house... it's the "old Johnson Place" or the "Old Reil Place"... even tho they may never have lived there as long as you will... it's still known as " the old..... Place" small town communities are vanishing, and that's not a good thing... comments welcome, please enjoy!

not only small town communities but communities in general,as everyone wants to boil his onw soup, and be the first everywhere, the biggest house ,the best paid job,the tallest dog,the most beautiful woman and thats all what counts, tell me how much you earn and i tell you who you are or something like that. its going down the drain, maybe before 2012 but then i am ready.

A cold, grey vista. I keep seeing this and I keep getting colder. The mobility of todays culture is its worst adversary.

Nice atmospheric scene, you know Colin, there is something to be said about small towns, they are full of comforts, home-cooked meals, peace and quiet, but most of all... they have character, which you won't find in the big city ! BB
