Description

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYs3U1g7V04 this is link to my greatest sculpture of all time presentation!! All done in Lightwave, was the reason I got started in CG. ,of course now I just want to do CG... oh and yes I designed/built the relief sculpture of Michelangelo's Pieta, a wood version hangs on my living room wall. This would be the giant marble version. thx all oh and the image is more just about the concept I know that the 3d could be much better.

Thanks alessimarco and petes, you might get a kick out of this, I put together a packet of stills from all angles and a CD of the animated fly-around and a nice cover letter and Fedex'ed it to Steve Wynn, you know of Las Vegas fame/owner of Bellagio/Encore/PICASSO's!!; figured he's a great art lover and has the money, maybe he would be the Medici family to me being Michelangelo(of the 21st century). He/they sent it back a couple of weeks later, nice letter saying he had looked at it but "at this time due to the economic......" cRazy longshot but maybe it will exist someday.

Unique idea. Saw the real thing in Rome. This might work as a park next to a highrise. People can relax and spend lunch time there, and when anyone looks out of the window, there's the full sculpture effect.

Interesting concept. I was fortunate enough to see it the day before it was attacked by a nut with a hammer, way back in the early 70's. Marble would be a nice way to render this.
