La Giornata Internazionale della Donna, comunemente definita Festa della Donna, è una festività celebrata l'8 marzo di ogni anno, che intende ricordare sia le conquiste sociali, politiche ed economiche delle donne, che le discriminazioni e le violenze cui esse sono ancora fatte oggetto in molte parti del mondo.
Nel corso degli anni la ricorrenza sta perdendo in molti paesi l'originario significato di lotta e di protesta per assumere una connotazione di mero carattere commerciale.
The International Women's Day, commonly called Women's Day is a holiday celebrated on 8 March each year, which will recall both the social achievements, political and economic conditions of women, discrimination and violence they are still made objects in many parts of the world.
Over the years the celebration in many countries are losing the original meaning of struggle and protest to take on a connotation of a purely commercial nature.

This is a beautiful image and dedication! Excellent clarity, colors and shadows! It is a great pity that the original meaning of Women's Day has been corrupted by commercialism. When rape is still a tool of war in many places, it is a message that still needs to be heard. These flowers are beautiful and excellently captured. They symbolize the beauty and delicacy of life, which should be nurtured. The inherent worth of everyone should be celebrated, and most especially the powerless. It makes me think of a song by Ron Miller, that I'm familiar with from Joan Baez' version, called "Heaven Help Us All" "Now I lay me down before I go to sleep In a troubled world, I pray the Lord to keep, hatred from the mighty And the mighty from the small Heaven help us all" Questa è una bella immagine e dedizione! Eccellente chiarezza, i colori e le ombre! E 'un vero peccato che il significato originario della festa della donna è stato danneggiato dal consumismo. Quando lo stupro è ancora uno strumento di guerra in molti luoghi, è un messaggio che ha ancora bisogno di essere ascoltato. Questi fiori sono belli e ottimamente catturato. Essi simboleggiano la bellezza e la delicatezza della vita, che deve essere protetta. Il valore intrinseco di ogni individuo dovrebbe essere celebrato, e più specialmente quelli senza potere. Mi fa pensare di una canzone di Ron Miller, che mi sono familiari a partire dalla versione Joan Baez chiamato "Heaven Help Us All" "Ora mi sdraiato sul letto prima di andare a dormire in un mondo inquieto, prego il Signore per mantenere, l'odio dal possente e la possente dal piccolo Il cielo, ci aiuti tutti"

grazie per il pensiero! fiori di pesco? o mandorlo? non sono molto forte in botanica :-D... qui le mimose erano indietro per via del freddo polare, che dopo qualche giorno di tregua, è tornato coi rinforzi. Dato che i fiori erano cari, io e Flavia abbiamo comprato un dolce 'alla mimosa' dal nostro pasticcere preferito ;-D
