Description

The skipper house is typical for the southern coast of Norway and a big part of the marine culture. These houses was often buildt by mariners, thats why they are called "Skipper house". They used to be red or ocre/yellow, but after 1850 they are all white. This picture was taken in Høllen, 15 minutes from Kristiansand. They look great and are still popular. This picture was in "Last Week in the Gallery 11/2010"

Bella scena ! Molto probabilmento più bella da vedere che da vivere ! ( una cosa così dalle mie parti sarebbe un incubo) Beautiful scene! Most probably be very nice to see that to live! (Something like that in my part would be a nightmare)
