Description

Ok, this is an earlier airbrushing piece that I don't know what caused me to paint it. I remember the bw newspaper photo, and I think back in the day I was scoring the media for anything that would catch my eye. This is an 16x20 piece acutally the size I like to work at.

a bit more info: looking at it now, I think the guitar needs some touch up work. Definitely some highlights. The middle of the canvas looks kinda washed out, but that's due to camera flash. The neon around the hair was actually an afterthought. When I finished the painting, I was like "eh......" and it hit me that his hair needed some highlights. I didn't realize that he had dreadlocks until years later I really like the emotion on his face. Even though it's not a "clean" airbrush job, it's one of my favorites.
