Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Hey girldfriend! Missed you crazy while I was gone!!! I also experienced some strange changes to nature this past holiday! No messing with Mother Nature - that is for sure! She will claim what is rightfully hers! LOL @ Errol!!! Great image my friend!

This is a nice shot showing what nature can do. The sands of time eh?

Wow look at that flattened grassland that you have spoken of earlier. We usually have the opposite problem of erosion.

Give me land, lots of land, under starry skies above.... Interesting POV used to capture the rough repetition of the square posts, as they meander up the countryside, Maz. That looks like either sand or concrete in the foreground. Incidentally, I believe this is the third or fourth time you've used that title. When I use the same title with my postings, I normally include a #2, #3, #4, etc. at the end.

Pretty easy to get through THAT fence! It's so interesting to see how the sand is building up. Cool shot!
