Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

Nice photo Barabara and I agree totally with what you said about how some people need to learn how to watch their dogs and for some it's not safe for them to have dogs as they can't control them at all.

Such a beautiful happy portrait and I'm glad she was okay. I do agree - I don't trust other dogs either. Of course I have little mini doxies so they are quite vulnerable. CC

I'm glad Meadow is Ok Such a beautiful face, I'm glad to see there is no bandages on her. I do the same with pick up doo-doo bags when I see people watch the dog do there business, and then leave it. I'm trying to be patient with a neighbor who has 3 Yorkshire terriers. ! adult and 2 puppies about 7 month or so. I cleanup the yard from Brian, and then is all these tiny pebbles of poo around the yard, he hasn't picked up after them since he moved in.I don't want to complain to management as he is the maintenance mans father. But, I getting real tired of picking up after his dogs. Frustration in Nevada

Oh Barbara - it hurts to think that Meadow could have been hurt. I know that the girls are "your girls" and how much you love them. Love Meadows eyes and give meadow a hug from me - give them all hugs from me.. Dana

Lovely photo Barbara, yes I know what you mean I did the same as you and would clip my dog back on the lead, but surprising how many don't so your forever trying to move your dog away.. and yes picking up after them is another thing many didn't do either, what was worse they would leave them in the designated dog run area where there were signs everywhere asking people to pick up after their dog does its business.. Grrr

This is a lovely portrait, but such a scary experience!

Oh I felt a tear appear when I read about that nasty dog upsetting Meadow, the poor girl, oh I would have been so cross too at its owner. As for all your other niggles you know I am exactly the same thinking as you Barbara. If anyone wants a dog as a furry companion they should own them responsibly in every single way. hugs and love Jane and furryfolk xx p.s. meant to say I love this pic, it is fabulous.

OMGosh. Don't even get me started. Several summers ago we had the summer from hell. I always walked my Gracie Anne and Murphy together, and my DH always took the B-dog (the Golden) for his walk. That summer, Gracie Anne was attacked and torn to shreds, she was in hospital for 4 days counting the day she was admitted. Little Murphy was attacked twice, but didn't get hurt, thankfully. People are so careless with their animals .. and they all say the same thing, oh he's never done that. Baloney. And the people who don't clean up after their dogs??? more GRRRRRRRRRS. LOL, I could go on and on about how awful people can be. I'm so wound up now I almost forgot to say how beautiful Sweet Meadow is! Such a love portrait of her!
