Description

I just got home in Lake Charles around 10:30 PM and I heard something out side and saw the blue lights flashing. I looked out the window and saw some cop cars and a pickup turck. They had this man over the hood which I saw when I drove up and walked into my house. The man was walking at the time. He did look at me but I just walked into my house. So I got mybig camera and pull the shade back some to put the camera there and took some shots. I guess the cop with the flash light so me for he shine his light at me; then he went about what he was doing . I did put the camera down thinking the lens my show back at him. I then thought of a red light some camera shine before they take a shot but I check that out and there was none. The camera is set at 3200 ISO so that why it grany and I did not have time to get my tripod so it hand held at speed of 25

I have read that it is not against the law to photograph police as long as one does not interfere with their business---but police does not always obey the law they are paid to uphold.even with video of police beating suspects, it has failed several times to encourage a jury to prosecute the police as in Rodney King in CA. of course jurors in CA. does not make any sense any way a fine shot for hand held

There are a lot of cops there. Doesn't look like a minor incident. Great capture!

I really like the way this turned out! Gives it that gritty real life feel much more so then a nice crisp photo would have. It has so much more atmosphere then a clean shot could have had. I think it's really well captured!
