Description

She had so many good poses I really do not know what to work on next. I think we shot just over 1000 images in 90 minutes.

Oh and if anyone wants to know the lighting for all this particular series, it is a standard clamshell set up. Main light overhead at a 45 degree angle, fill light underneath pointing up. The main is an AB800 with the 22 inch beauty dish firing at F9 with the grid attached to control spill on the backdrop which is Savage white paper. The fill is another AB800 firing at about F5.6 in a 42 inch shoot through umbrella. I put the fill light in a small stand and set it horizontally directly on the floor to get it low enough. She is sitting on a low stool so that the main light has enough room. The camera (which hardly matters IMO) is a D90 with the old F2.8 35-70mm push pull zoom lens from 15 years ago LOL. Postwork is blemish layer, lighten the iris, sharpening, dodge and burn for facial contouring and adding highlight to the hair, then a touch of vignetting around the top corners. Color control was done entirely with a grey card she held each time I tweaked the lights, then I run a white balance off the card on that series of shots in Lightroom - I hate trying to guess or choose a color balance in postwork :)
