SOCOLA talking to SOCONY. (That's Standard Oil company of Louisiana and the horse is from Standard Oil Company of New York.) In today's world that's Mobilgas. aka Exxon-Mobil shades of John D.

Super stellar contrast in this night neon shot of the red Pegasus horse, Jock! Oh yeah, that's the beautiful old Mobil Oil logo that goes way back in time! They merged with Exxon in 1999 to become ExxonMobil.

Mobil Oil. The old Std. Oil Co. of NY. One of the spin-offs when John D. Rockefeller's Standard Oil Trust was broken up by the Federal government in 1911.

It most certainly is Mobil Oil's logo! I don't think they use it anymore. Shame, it was a cool logo. Wonderfully seen and captured!

Great shot! Not even seen this logo in a long time, except for signs on a rare barn while driving.

Beautiful! Mobil Oil Company. When I was a small boy living on the very far reaches of mid 1950's Dallas, The Flying Red Horse was the tallest and most visible structure. It could be seen for many, many miles around! Sometimes at night, when the haze was just right, it seemed to loom out of the night sky, like some magical mythology come to life. Great work here, Bravo!

Many of these were flying around (LOL) when I was a boy...Mobile it was. Love this shot. Neon is always a very appealing subject.
