now a public service rant as it were:
Yesterday my youngest sister was taken to the hospital with extremely severe eye pain which was diagnosed as Narrowed Angle Glaucoma. had she waited any longer, she would be blind right now as it is, she caught it in time and she had corrective surgery on her eye and can see.
If you or anyone in your family or friends have a history of glaucoma in the family, please get your eyes checked. Please! I had mine checked today and the pressure in both eyes are 'okay' I need to go in on a yearly basis to ensure that it doesn't get any worse. as a matter of self-interest for you: if you cna't see, you can't create images for us to see and also you won't be able to see the images and comments we post.

What a beautiful image and dedication Mike! I'm glad to hear that things were caught on time, and the surgery allowed for a full recovery... it's so scary sometimes to think what "would have been"...
