Description

I'm building a town for the next several chapters of my "7 Valkyries" series. There's a lot more to do (the little park needs a fence around it, there needs to be more actual dwellings, the blacksmith and the livery aren't there yet, and so on). But this is just the uncompleted business district. Anyone interested in where I got the buildings, please sitemail me. The environment is something I pieced together from various parts, and some things I created myself. I've got a huge area, in DAZ scale it's like a mile wide, to build all sorts of places I cam move the characters and cameras around in. This is only a small portion in this render :-) Comments welcome. I'm trying to make the town of Hasty Creek seem like a real place.

Looks great so far! DAZ might have crapped out on me by this point. xD (I'm actually building a set for Survive: Chapter 7 - that's another reason it's been taking so long. ;P)

Looks like 1880's old west. A strange place for a post-apocalypse piece. Good work for an old-west town.

Looks like a town divided by religion, with two churches on opposite sides of the street.

Amazing town. Daz crashes when I get too big. Everything gets way too slow. I wish you luck. Very nice work.

Klasyczna piękna scena styl i praca. Doskonałe wyczucie koloru i sceny. Przy powiększeniu widać dopiero artyzm wykonania. Bardzo dobra praca.

I went to a town smaller than that when I was a kid called Hope Kansas. A church, a grocoery store/post office/gas station & about 6 houses. Thought I'd never see anything so 'apart'. Then I found my home. ;) Great start to a new chapter(s)! ")

No, these are some Old West buildings from DAZ, also a couple buildings from LukeA's Tortuga set, and some things from Mapps, Miss Kristi's Schoolhouse from Dreamland Models, the Lost in the Graveyard set (look close behind the church!), Western Coaches from Faveral at DAZ, also the MOM crowd (but with my own people in it), and a couple of things I can't now recall where I got them from.

If'n y'all put in a nice lawn, be sure to let us know how they keep it manicured. Goats 'n' sheep did it in the antebellum south. Can't wait to see what the Law Dog's office looks like.
