Looks like the little gremlin guy is covering his eyes because he doesn't want to see what is about to happen. He's probably seen the shark sneaking up on the guy who is obviously preoccupied with his catch! LOL! This is a delightful artwork, Monica! Lots of fun little details, grat expressions, and wonderful light and shadows! Well done, my friend!

Nice work. Love the little extra creature in this image. Not sure if I was him, I'd want to be in a pond with a shark? Love the little gremlin creature. Hope he isn't having the mermaid for lunch or anything.
