Description
"Tender childhood, beautiful town,
Rich fountain of happiness,
Of harmonious melodies,
That drive away my sorrow!
Return thee to my heart,
Bring back my gentle hours
As do the birds when the flow'rs
Would again begin to blow!"
~Dr. Jose Rizal, Memories of My Town, 1861-1896
This is about a man recalling his childhood days and wishes to bring back those days doing the things he used to do, the friends he had and the purity of a child's faith. Don't we think and wished the same? We usually get to this point when we face the challenges of life that seems too difficult for us. So we go to a place where we can find solace and escape reality for a little while. There we find peace, a single moment of joy.
For my friends who are M4 enthusiasts, Radar-rad_dude, Killebrew, Mavrosh, mistressotdark and lwperkins~~ this is for you and to those who were not mentioned.
A special thanks to Cath for this wonderful M4 morphs and textures, you rock, girl!
My great appreciation to all of you who viewed my page and for your comments.

The image really draws you in, Jenny... and the bloke isn't any too hard on the eyes, either ... ;) I love those pictures where you keep finding new things to look at - this must have taken you hours and hours to compose... all that detail! Very compelling image, hun... I really like this.

I could not have woken up and viewed a better first image to start my day. Haven't even had my first coffee yet, it's on the way, and already I am feeling better from a restless night of tossing and turning.

Days always seemed brighter when we were children. As adults we get so cynical and jaded because of the things that happen as we grow up, but nothing seems to even dent to child's natural hope and happiness. The character seems to have a lot of inner peace, even if just for this moment. It speaks volumes to me, really.

super art! wow! love that render and scene..

This is wonderful--and thank you for the dedication! I am glad to say I enjoy being an adult far more than when I was a child;) (I would not have appreciated your glorious M4 character, for one thing, I would have insisted on a purple unicorn with long eyelashes;)

You captured that far-away, day-dreamy, look in his eyes perfectly! The wonderful thing is that we can return just a bit to those days everytime we imagine a fantasy...and render it! I agree with lwperkins that our fantasies may change a bit ;-), but we still dream of faeries, dragons, heroes, and magical worlds....and make them appear! Great image...thanks for spurring my imagination!
