This is my player's character in our latest campaign. His name is Kyp Endac; he's a stormtrooper working for Imperial Intelligence. Inyri Bria (who I posted earlier) is his pilot; he's currently working on bringing down a crime lord named Ra Morz (see "Ra Morz and Company") who is suspected of Rebel sympathies. Over my years as Gamemaster, I've run campaigns where the player(s) (I've had only one player for over a year now, but in the past I've had as many as five) are Jedi fighting for the Old Republic, Rebels, members of the New Republic, good guys from alternate timelines, and my last campaign was even modeled on the main quest of Morrowind. But I've never run a "bad guy" campaign before, so it's very interesting switching sides. Of course, my hero is still morally a "good guy"; he's a firm believer that the Empire really wants the best for everyone and that the Emperor is a selfless and benevolent ruler. Perhaps in the future an epiphany will come which will force Kyp to consider his allegiances, but for now he views the Rebel Alliance in a similar light that most Americans view, for example, al-Qaeda. Kyp Endac is most skilled at assassination and stealth, and his signature weapons are a slugthrower pistol and a slugthrower sniper rifle--he only uses blasters when he must.
