Very clear, clean and simple lines with colours & textures... and voila, you have a beautiful still-life ! BB

This is a classic example of a fine photographer turning a simple capture into an abstract graphic, and reminding us that the lens---and the postwork that may go with it---can take a simple slice of life and turn it into a wholly new & fresh vision. The wall & pier (locks maybe) become a 20th C. abstract painting, against their reflections & variations in the water. With a little less realism, it could be a 1930's abstract painting from one of several European masters. And, as you often do, you captured 3 different hue groups, and each is distinct yet there's a certain blend between them. That's one of your trademarks: An indescribable relation between your hues. A real Nikolay abstraction taken from the womb of everyday life. Beautiful too, how the bottom half winnows into watery nothingness.

What a marvelous image! I love the lines, the whole sense of geometry you present here. The lighting is perfect. There is a distinct sense of calm in this image and I feel it just looking. And again, you make perfect use of minimalism: revealing only what is necessary without ever having to rely on rococo filigree and flamboyance to shock and awe us into thinking that we're seeing something pretty. How wonderful!
