Description

Evening all :o) This Moorhen has become part of the daily life in my garden even though there is`nt any water .All I can imagine is that its come across hard times through all the bad weather we have had and knows it can get a feed in my garden :o) Jennie has reached a plateau in her recovery which is`nt too bad considering she`s 90 on the 20th of this month .Her speech and mobility are`nt too good but she looks well and is eating like there is no tomorrow .She will not be going to rehab this time as the staff dont think she will improve there ,but are of the opinion that getting her home after all this time (over 3 months)may do her more good .We are having a meeting this Tuesday with everyone involved ,with the intention of getting her home in the very near future .Hopefully we can get her out of the hospital to celebrate her Birthday :o) Thanks for looking and take care . Mick

Lovely capture of this little bird Mick and thank you for the update on Jenny. She is in my prayers and I hope they will reconsider the rehab as it can do more good than people realize

Good heavens...you have a moorehen as a regular visitor? I only see these when I get out in the country... Very rarely. This is a wonderful shot and has a lot of the things I look for when I'm working with my wildlife artistry. And there you guys are with these big decisions coming up. My thoughts are with you and June...
