Description

Large Milkweed Bug - Oncopeltus fasciatus Found this one the same day/place as the Red-Shouldered Bug. It was the only one I saw all day. You can see its long mouth-parts feeding deep in the flower. Thanks for looking. -Bruce FullSize for a nice detail look.

Oh, I love that outfit! Why don't humans dress like this? Fantastic details and those colors simply pop. You are the master at insect macro photography and this is a marvelous example of why! There is a wealth of detail and this is--most definitely--the kind of picture to zoom in to see. Great work.
