Description
I can hear her heart beat for a thousand miles And the heavens open every time she smiles And when I come to her that's where I belong Yes I'm running to her like a river's song And when I'm returning from so far away She gives me some sweet lovin' to brighten up my day Yes it makes me righteous, yes it makes me feel whole Yes it makes me mellow down into my soul -Van MorrisonOh, don't mind me! I'm just dancin' with my Natasha again .. it's been a long while. I'm not sure what caught her attention exactly .. but when she smiles like that it really doesn't matter why. ;-) I hope you are enjoying a happy and creative weekend! Terry Here is a portrait from an earlier dance with Natasha

E' bellissima! Avrei solo ritoccato i denti per renderli più naturali; ma è solo un piccolo pensiero personale.:)

This rivals mood photography, Terry. I swear she looks so real, I can almost hear her chuckling...

I wonder what's captured her humor. Probably someting foolish from her partner. That's the way it usually works. Anyway she is stunning right down to the gleem in her eyes.

Very good colour tone

Beautiful work, Terry. She looks very realistic and her smile as well. Your magic touch always shines when you render and post work your images.

Interesing how light can so change the appearance of a character. Here Natasha seems older, more assured. Gone is the open eyed stare of a nervous cat, replaced with a gaze bordering on, but not quite, confidence.

Light and its cohort Shadow are the true masters of character. All we do in crafting imagery is to illustrate with these two elements just as we would with paint or pen. As a photographer my perception of what I do was transformed forever when I first recognized that the origin of the word Photography, which for a long time was hyphenated as Photo-Graphy, was rooted in the Greek and quite plainly meant: "light writing" or "light illustration". It is no trick of the light or shadow, however, which makes Natasha seem older to you in this portrait. In fact, she is older here than in 'Don't be Afraid of the Shadows.' There is another portrait which explains the reason for this .. although it is a portrayal of Natasha at an even older age than above. Clicking the image will also take you there. Thank you for making note of this, Rox'!.. for the three portraits should be linked together. T.

A beautiful play of light, as per usual, Terry! She is 'alive' as so many of your characters are :)
