But they certainly were as evidenced by the overturned paper towel holder, opened drawer, and rumpled table top. What sort of critter would do that? See any clues? The tour begins with the little wooden ferret sign, wanders over to a canvas shopping bag that has been framed, meanders over to the Possum sign, skedaddles to the framed ferret banner, and finally heads to the Mexican tile mural in front of wooden sign with pithy saying about the joys of ferret-dumb. I will mention that the tile mural was a commission I had done for Mrs. W. The subject of this piece of immortalization is Richard the Horrible. She long wanted something special to remember him by. I sent the photo to the merchant in Laredo, he contacted his artist, and we agreed on a very reasonable price for a unique gift.
