Description

Historic costumes from the Dutch Militairy that fought at Waterloo The houses in the background (former Portuges Jewish Area) are from the period 1725 / 1848, the bridge (Zoo-Bridge with animal figures in it, is originally from the 1930's) Today they give the start signal for the City-pier-City run (inner city to the beach and back). This was at 12 (49 minutes ago), the next run will be in 10 minutes and the last (half a marathon, about 1,5h from now....) I have a GREAT view on this event from my house.

i thought you where running with them.village fiesta tonight mucho pils then. here they have fiesta too,but the spaniards understand under fiesta only noise and i mean noise only,well at least in the region we live.

Wow, I find it hard to imagine all that history right there. You'd be hard pressed to find a building here older than 1912, and even then, there aren't to many from the early 1900's.
