I spent the past few days photographing ducks and water birds, something I've never done before except in passing . This was one of the shots.

Well, for never having done it before you caught an AWESOME shot!! A good look at the mechanics for lift off from a duck! I am not familiar with the type of duck,but I love the markings on the head.

Well, you give us a very impressive image. I am certain exposure was difficult with the water background but a bit more contrast in the duck would add a lot to the great photo.
