Description

Police received an strange call that afternoon. Someone that remained unidentified said that there was a corpse in the channels. It was a hot summer so the Crownsend river flow was low. Sgt Perkins phoned lady Meredith Thomson. She was a teacher on Miskatonic University, and the forensic of Arkham police department. When they arrived and the scene, they wasnt ready for what they were going to see. And corpse lied in the mud between some piece of garbage that the nearest industries throwed to the river. But the low level of flow revealed also a strange cave from where an insane light and some ill fungi come from. Agents Carson and Phillips approached the cave. Nobody payed attention to the furtive figure that hidded in the shadows as they lighted the lanterns or the sounds of movement that came from the river. I have spend around 2 weeks doing this image. I have added lights, turned off, turned on again... added figures, removed them... it doesnt have anything to do with the original. Based on the cover of Trail of Cthulhu by Jérôme Huguenin tried to do a dark image involving again some Mythos. Im not very happy with this image, think is missing something. Or maybe its too dark... I cant work it anymore cause i have the feeling that everytime i touch it again i get a even worse image. I love it! It's gritty, has great detail that hints at the story without giving it away. The period cars and details are fantastic, love the guy in the window, the figure skulking away into the dark. You've done a great job!
