Gene Soucy's 'Showcat' is the first Grunman biplane to be used in airshows since the 1930's. This modified Ag Cat was first designed in 1958. This aircraft is used for skywriting, wingwalking and as a pyrotechnics platform. How odd...I've only know Midland for their oil wells - never knew about this. I remember watching news reels as a kid of wing-walkers and being thrilled at the sight. This is a great shot.
