Description

Balderon knew he had only one chance. He had to let the beast get close enough to have a clear shot at its heart. The heart on this creature was on the right side and quite a bit lower than in a human. Just a little bit closer and he would finish this for good. He heard Marlis gasp in fear and knew if he was distracted for even a second he was finished and so would Marlis be. He HAD to get this right. He raised his shield up higher, to cover his body and most of his face, and took a step closer to the foul monster. He could smell the decaying scent that it's body gave off. Like a huge heap of rotting meat, left out in the sun too long, he tried hard not to be distracted by this as well as the growl that the Shrieker emitted. Almost close enough, he dug in with his feet to make sure he didn't slip and drew back with his sword arm, ready for a killing blow. One more step and it would be all over. He wished it would hurry and he could kill it. The tension was palpable as he made one last thrust with his sword and felt the steel blade sink deep into the heart of the beast. Pulling out the blade in anticipation of having to make a second thrust he raised his shield just in time to block a gush of greenish liquid that the creature had for blood. He knew for certain that the battle was over and watched as the monster dropped heavily upon the ground. All were safe now. Thank the Gods.

Well, about time to do something besides a female this time. These usually don't get as many views as the girls but I get stale if I do nothing but those so every now and then I do something a little more balanced gender-wise... Hope you still like it and expect that my friends will come look regardless, they seem to just like my artwork ... So to those friends .. have a great coming week and see ya next time around.... gene

Excellent work. Love the graphics style and rich colours. Makes me think of those old illuminated medieval books and manuscripts.

Great work. Strong contrasting colours. A bit of variety is good. Warrior female, fairy females, females with and without clothes, black females .... You get my drift. A fantasy artist who didn't like females would be like a mouse that doesn't like cheese. (Don't take this remark entirely seriously).
