Excellent 3-way. Looks a tad top heavy - must have some powerful engines to get that up and keep it there.

I've seen a photo of this combo in flight. It was meant for transatlantic passenger and mail service, but I'm not sure it was operational due to WWII. Your drawings are always wonderful!

A wonderful piece of engineering.. As to Rog's not knowing if it was used in WW2... The Smaller part was used in the early part in various RAF Squadrons up till 1941.. Then was then returned to Shorts, broken up and the Aluminium reused for new 'boats'... The large part was bombed in Poole harbour I believe.. Only one true combination was built... Great 3-way... Rob
