My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Oh, these are gorgeous! I never knew what these were called, but then we don't have as many of them in the Chicago area as I'd suspect. We do have a not as prickly variant: the stems are smoother and the prickly heads are more hooked for sticking to fur (or shoestrings...they love sticking to shoestrings.) Wonderful color and I love flash experiments. They're so much fun and the color is stunning. Beautiful. Gorgeous. I like this a lot!

A breathtaking capture. Beautiful hues and colors. Fantastic details - even the stems have tiny thorns. So well captured. Dana
