Description

Captured 3/13/10, at the Los Angeles Zoo in Los Angeles, California. While resting and eating my lunch on a bench, I thought it would be interesting to snap a few portraits of this guileless mini-urchin sitting next to me on his mother's lap. He was staring at me as if I was one of the wildlife on exhibit. He's still wearing the bib after finishing off his bottle. And his mother, busy hunting for something in her bag, didn't even know I was taking pics of her pride and joy. That's ninja to the fiftieth power. Incidentally, I doubt she could speak English. I took a total of 446 shots while at the zoo, which I'll show photos of and comment on later. I'm presently in the process of postworking and sorting them out. Toodles, thankx for stopping by, and for any and all comments and faves.

He's probably memorizing your face, and some day when he's bigger he'll come find you! Great candid shot!

Awww...he's SO cute!! Yes, he's probably wondering why you're taking his picture when there are so many animals to photograph, LOL

Yay! Harry ... lol Say it as it is.... 'Incidentally, I doubt she could speak English.' Wonderfully priceless!!!!! In the UK, if you said that on the street and some busy body heard you AND reported you you would be arrested!! TRUE! But, that aside its still a lovely portrait.. Ninja photography Rocks! Go Harry! What beautiful brown eyes, and you're in there somewhere! There is a slightly puzzled look on his face. Excellent capture! Lovely soft light. Great title! I look forward to more shots of wild things at the zoo!

Super shot Harry the "ninja to the fiftieth power" photographer. Always wanted to snap one of a cute kid and was always concerned of being wacked over the head by an over protective Mom. You are a brave man Harry - my hero. Dana
