I'm assuming leather soled shoes? Rubber would have definately been melting at that close range. Wonderful capture. : )

HOLY!!!! You're a heck of a lot braver than I would ever be when faced with molten rock! YESH! What a shot though! The ripples in the lava really are lovely and the contrast between the old(er) and new flow is quite striking. Did the bottoms of your shoes start melting? :-)
