nice texturing and the lighting is superb. I haven't played with radiosity very much because of a slow computer, but this looks great.... how long to render and on what kind of machine?

Excellent lighting (as always), superb modeling and great textures. I really like your meticulous attention to detail, specially on the uneven laying of (slate?) tiles surrounding the recessed area and the subtle chipping of the (marble?) bench. Aside from your lights, the time spent on achieving the interplay of sharp and soft shadows is awesome. Yet another winner!

This is great....I think you're right up there with the best of them. I know what Herculaneum is (city devastated by a killer volcano....hello) and I think this depicts it very well, you can even imagine a little dust in the beams....GREAT job!!!
