In an alternate timeline, Jor-el and his brother Zor-el work feverishly together to build a set of spacecraft to carry their children away from the doomed planet Krypton. On the fateful day when the planet begins to tear itself apart from within, the brothers launch the spacecraft with the hope their children will reach the planet their deep space probes have detected. As fate would have it, the spacecraft of Jor-el's infant son Kal-el is struck by a satellite whose orbit was disturbed by the suddenly changing gravity of the doomed planet. Kal-el's craft spins off course into deep space. While Kara, Zor-el's daughter, continues on course for her destination - Earth. Kara's spacecraft lands in Kansas and she is found by Jonathan and Martha Kent. Childless, they take her as their own and hide the remains of the spacecraft on their farm. As she grows up, she begins to exhibit some amazing abilities. When she grows to adulthood she reveals herself and abilities to the world and quickly she is given the name Superwoman. It is not long after her public debut that she encounters her most dangerous adversary - Lex Luther. Yet in another twist of fate, after several years of conflict, Luther turns himself into the authorities to answer for his crimes. On the day of his highly publicized trial, Superwoman confronts Luther to ask why he turned himself in. He confesses to her that after all their years of bitter conflict he came to realize that he was in love with her. Luther was found guilt and went to prison where he spent his time focusing his amazing genius on projects to better mankind. Five years later, Luther was released from prison for good behavior and because an invention of his had saved thousands of saves during a disaster in a third world country. The day he left the prison, Superwoman was waiting for him. She told him that she loved him also and if he had truly changes that they could have a life together. From that day on Superwoman and Luther became an amazing force for good. Many villains rose up against them, but they managed to defeat them all. Then one day, NASA sent an emergency message to Superwoman about an enormous object that they had detected heading for Earth. As she streaked into the sky, suddenly a craft appeared before her. It was the most alien and frightening thing she had ever seen. It looked like a metal skull with tentacles. From the craft emerged two individuals, one appeared to be some type of robot or android. The other appeared to be a humanoid male in his late teens. He was wearing all black save a silver Kryption shield on his chest which signified the House of EL. The android looking being spoke and it could be heard on all mediums of broadcast across the world. "I am Braniac. I am here as oracle for Lord Kal-el, ruler of galaxies. You have two hours to unconditionally surrender or face destruction." Kara looked at the teen in black. Kal-el just smiled. Sorry for the length of the narrative. It just started rolling.
