An earlier moment in a long English sunset than my previous upload "Sunset dog run." One of the nice things about the UK (despite everything) is that the sun takes a long time to set, sloping down into the horizon at less than 40 degrees. Much more cloud than in the later pic. (phone cam) The sun never really "sets," of course. The Earth just rotates my ephemeral viewpoint away in her slow spin and dance around her overwhelming master the sun, which is just an ordinary star, 333,000 times more massive than our planet.
