Terragen 0.9 free version. Terrain is "Rugged 1" from Danny Gordon's free stuff - thanks Danny! Your images and terrains inspired me to return to Terragen between Bryce works. :-) Thanks for looking and commenting.

Nice work on the atmo, Sue - I think a lower POV would be of benefit. And ditch Bryce - Terragen 2 is much better ;o)

you got some good depth out of this 513 terrain. Nice treatment as well. Some added work on the shoreline would cap this off, Cut the grass off @ .1 - .5 above the water line. All depends on the pitch of the slope. I think TG 2 or Mojo would be a nice step if you are looking to branch out, otherwise TG 9 can really keep you interested for a long time the better you get.

@Rich2 - lol, I knew someone would say this. ;-) I'm not yet prepared to go through the hassle to learn about TG2 (although I love all the great images I've seen from others so far!), since at first sight it looks very difficult and time intensive. Time is rare and I'm not sure if I'll have the nerve to wait for the preview window finishing it's render after every new setting...or is there anyone who'll tell me it's not as bad as it seems at first sight? Any encouraging comment would be very welcome. :-)

Perfect lighting, and the colors are beautiful. Nice depth, and I like the perspective. Wonderful work, Sue! Re TG2, I understand your frustration, but once you become familiar with the program (Planetside forum is a great place for learning)- based on my experience, anyway, it will become easier to use than classic Terragen..and yield some pretty awesome results. Having said that, I love results like this one. Beautiful mood!

Beautiful work, the sky reminds me of a water colour wash, excellent. Please try and find the time to explore TG2,i steered clear of it for quite a while, but having spent a couple of months on it,i find it just as 'easy'! and fast to use as Terragen classic.

Superior work...this scene has an almost painterly feel to it. The colors in the sky are magnificent!! Your work is fabulous in both Bryce and Terragen...I use Bryce and Vue but no matter how impressive the results with Vue, I always return to Bryce. Bryce is my favorite now and forever!!! By the way, I'm putting this image in my favorites. Wonderful work!!!
