Description

Terragen 2 - Jpeg conversion straight from the original render: no post sharpen / gamma adjust. Completed in 1:09:43 Two grass populations - boy, they are a trick to get to look halfway decent. Terrain is my highly tweaked version of NWDA's default set-up with a displaced voronoi crack + "flatten terrain" node networks attached. Planet and moon are my creations. Thanks for looking in!

Full size does this justice. Nice render

Awesome POV, nice natural light, and I love your "rugged" terrain! I hear you re the grass pops, and you've done a commendable job here. Very nice!

I like what you have done here Rich. Both, the terrain displacements and its color transition from a darker color to a lighter one. My only suggestion wold be the grass scale. It appears too large - however, I think it is the POV that throws off the scale; i.e., you may need to be lower to the ground to set the scale right. Now this may ruin your scene; but, it would be worth while to find a similar POV by tilting the camera and perhaps zooming in a little closer. In all though, this is one of your best TG2's.

Very nice. I agree, the scale of grass (trees too, I think) might be just a tad smaller. But this is still a fine render

Very nice work. For me the planet in the sky is not necessary but it is still a fine render.
