Description

Evening all :o) Big day tomorrow as we reach Jennie`s 90th birthday .We are having a small party at the Hospital in the day room with as many of the family as possible :o) This was taken an hour ago whilst playing about with a macro lens and a potato.The potato in question is one of Ashleigh`s sets ready to go in her black bin for cropping later this year .Hopefully if the weather holds she will get her veggies sown .What it is to be young ,she goes through all these phases and I have to try and keep up lol :o) Thanks for looking and take care . I put in my potato eyes last fall. They have sat in half wine barrels in compost all winter and they came up about 3 weeks ago. The tops are leafy and about 14 inches tall. I am growing finger potatoes and Yukon Gold and with luck, I can get two good crops this year from these plants. :-) but I don't remember ever seeing creepies growing on a spud quite like this before! LOL So the 90th birthday! My word that is marvelous. You must give her a hug for me.
